📖 Complete User Guide
What Is This Tool?
- Arrange ID card images (front & back) onto printable A4/A5 layouts.
- Left column = Front (odd: 1,3,5,7). Right = Back (even: 2,4,6,8).
- Export as print-ready PDF.
Uploading Images
- Click any slot → file picker for that slot.
- Upload Front/Back buttons → fills ALL matching slots on ALL pages.
- Drag & drop file from computer onto any slot.
- Number key 1-8 → paste clipboard image to that position.
- Alt + Number → file picker for that position.
Drag: Copy vs Move/Swap
- Normal drag → Copies image (source keeps it).
- Hold Shift + Drag → Move/Swap mode (purple indicators).
- If target is empty → image moves (source cleared).
- If target has image → both swap with animation.
- Active key indicator shows at bottom of screen.
Removing Images
- Hover slot → click red ✕ button.
- Delete + Number → remove from that position.
- Clear Page button → removes all images on current page.
Multiple Pages
- Duplicate Page → clones current page with images.
- Prev/Next or click dots → navigate pages.
- Delete → remove current page (min 1 page).
A4 ↔ A5 (No Data Loss!)
- A4=8 slots. A5=4 slots.
- A4→A5: slots 1-4→page1, 5-8→page2.
- A5→A4: two A5 pages merge into one A4.
- All images preserved!
Export PDF
- Download PDF → all pages exported.
- Empty slots hidden. Exact print dimensions.
All Shortcuts
- 1–8 → Paste clipboard to position
- Alt+1–8 → File picker for position
- Del→1–8 → Remove from position
- Shift+Drag → Move/Swap images
- Normal Drag → Copy image
Pro Tip: Copy an ID card (Ctrl+C), press number keys to paste. Use Shift+Drag to rearrange. Active keys show at bottom!
